About the event
You will have a blast at BioBlast, an event presented by Clark County Parks & Recreation, Clark Count Wetlands Park, and Commissioner Jim Gibson. It’s all about the flora, fauna, and environment found in the Park and in southern Nevada. Visit Science Stations, where guest scientists and naturalists will help you identify fish, bugs, plants, birds, and mammals. Learn about a wide range of topics, including how native species adapt, survive, and thrive in this corner of the driest desert in North America. Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day 2026, which highlights the important role of community science in bird conservation. This year’s theme is Every Bird Counts, Your Observations Matter! The Nature Center will feature lots of games and activities, too. Fun for all ages!
