About the event
Join us at iCode for an interactive STEM Exploration Hub event where student participants can choose from five engaging, hands-on stations that demonstrate how science and technology show up in everyday life based on your child's interest.
Each hub offers a different STEM experience:
Game Development Hub: Kids design and build their own simple games using Construct 3, learning logic, sequencing, and creative problem-solving.
Robotics Hub: Participants build and interact with VEX IQ robots, exploring engineering concepts and teamwork through hands-on construction.
Minecraft Modding Hub: Kids customize their own Minecraft worlds, introducing coding concepts and digital design in a familiar environment.
Circuits & Invention Hub: Using Makey Makey and Snap Circuits, participants learn the fundamentals of hardware and software by creating interactive circuits and experimenting with real-world inputs and outputs.
Digital Art Hub: Families explore digital creativity by designing artwork using software, showing how technology can be a powerful tool for self-expression.
This hub format keeps students actively engaged while exposing them to STEM pathways around their interests. It’s designed to be approachable, interactive, and exciting for all ages reinforcing the idea that science truly is everywhere.
