About the event
Get an inside look at the Solar House at the Spring Preserve. DesertSol is a solar-powered home that was created and built by the UNLV Solar Decathlon Team, as part of the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon 2013. It is an ultra-efficient model home that showcases innovations in sustainable home design including technology, energy and material choices, and uses solar energy as a fuel source.

Tours are at 11:30am, 1:30pm and 2:30pm
Tour guests will need to see the ticket window and will receive a trails and gardens pass. Museum access is not included.
